The conference “Domestic and international commercial arbitration. Current practice and future trends in the context of the New Rules of arbitration“, organized by the Court of Commercial and Maritime Arbitration under CCINA Constanta, the Enterprise Europe Network Center and the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Romania, took place last week in Constanta.
On June 8, 2017, Pharma Business Services organized the eighth edition of the Pharmaceutical Industry Forum. NNDKP was partner at the event and Ana-Maria Baciu was invited as a speaker.
NNDKP successfully represented Search Corporation SRL in a dispute involving a claim for damages of approximately RON 62 million for an alleged contractual liability arising from the public procurement contract concluded in 2006 for design works in relation to project “Road bridge at km 0+540 of the Danube-Black Sea Canal and works related to the road infrastructure and access to the Port of Constanta” – Agigea Bridge, the longest cable-stayed bridge in Romania.

On June 1, 2017, at a special awards ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, Ion Nestor, Co-Managing Partner of NNDKP, was named the Market Maker for Romania, a lifetime achievement award given to the senior lawyer identified by peers as having played the most influential and significant role in creating the country’s modern legal market.
