News on legal holidays
Law no. 176/2016 for the amendment of art. 139 (1) of Law no. 53/2003 – Labour Code was published within the Official Gazette no. 808 from October 13, 2016.
According to the new legal provisions, January 24, the Union Day, was declared legal holiday, being added to the list of non-working days, provided in this respect by the Romanian Labour Code within Article 139.
