NNDKP named “Law Firm of the Year” at the Romanian Legal Awards Gala
NNDKP received the “Law Firm of the Year” award at the Romanian Legal Awards 2020 Gala organized by Legal Marketing on June 3rd, 2021. This is the 3rd time NNDKP receives this distinction, after scooping the award in 2016 and 2017 (in 2020 the event was postponed due to the restrictions imposed in order to contain the spread of COVID-19).
On accepting the award on behalf of NNDKP by Mrs. Manuela Nestor, Founder and Co-Managing Partner, stated that:
„I think the award we receive this evening is an expression of appreciation for our work and our results in 2020, but I like to believe that it is also an expression of appreciation for our entire contribution to the prestige of the legal profession, and for the achievements Romania has witnessed in the last 31 years. We are proud of all of our colleagues in the firm. We would not have accomplished anything if they had not manifested the same dedication, the same respect for the legal profession and pride in always doing a remarkable job and in being able to say, with the head held high – I am a Lawyer”.
This distinction follows shortly after NNDKP won the “Romania Law Firm of the Year” award at the Chambers Europe Awards gala organized by Chambers and Partners, in April 2021, reconfirming the Firm’s status as one of the most awarded law firms in Romania by various local and international observers celebrating the activity of the legal community.
During the Romanian Legal Awards Gala, NNDKP also received 3 awards for the outstanding activity of its Public Procurement, Employment and Data Protection teams. The awards were accepted by Adina Chilim-Dumitriu, Partner and Co-head of NNDKP’s Public Procurement and PPP Practice, Roxana Abrasu, Partner and Head of NNDKP’s Employment Practice and Iurie Cojocaru, Managing Associate in NNDKP’s Data Protection Practice.
