NNDKP contributes to the CEE Legal Matters Comparative Legal Guide: TMT 2022
Our colleagues, Adina Chilim-Dumitriu, Alina Boureanu and Madalina Vasile, contributed the Romanian chapter to the TMT Comparative Guide: 2022 put together by CEE Legal Matters, which covers ten jurisdictions, including Romania. This year’s edition looked at the most important regulations relative to online contracting, digital signatures, and digital archiving across the researched jurisdictions.
The Romanian chapter clarifies whether electronic documents per se are considered to be in writing under the Romanian law and provides practical insights into the probative power of paper and electronic documents considered to be in writing, the general rules and requirements for concluding a contract electronically, the different types of digital signatures and their respective probative power, and into digital archiving.
If you want to know more, the Romanian chapter is available here.
