A New First on the Local Business Law Market: NNDKP Designated Again “Best Romanian Law Firm” at the Euromoney Gala
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) was recognized, for the third time in a row, “Best Romanian Law Firm” at the “European Women in Business Law 2013” Gala, organized in London by the famous publishing house Euromoney Legal Media Group. The Euromoney Gala acknowledges the merits of European law firms that foster a professional environment promoting women who specialize in business law, bringing together representatives of one of the most prestigious law firms on the continent.
2013 brought another major achievement, NNDKP being the only law firm designated by Chambers Europe as “Law Firm of the Year in Romania” for the third time (after obtaining this distinction every year from 2009 to 2012). Chambers Europe is one of the most respected legal research institutions recognized at international level and its annual surveys are based, among others, on interviews with the clients and competitors of the law firms in all the important jurisdictions in the world.
NNDKP is one of the Romanian law firms recognized for implementing programs based on performance criteria that define the policies of recruitment and selection, professional training and sustaining and promotion of talented lawyers as well as mentorship programs dedicated to law students.
The firm is also recognized for promoting gender equality and was recently selected to represent Romania in the initiative initiated by the European Commission in this respect. In the forum taking place in Brussels, ”Equality Pays Off”, NNDKP shared with the other participants the criteria it uses for recruiting lawyers and the practices used to ensure the development and retention of the best of them, irrespective of their gender.
The ”European Women in Business Law Awards 2013” recognized the contribution of law firms who promote gender equality and diversity in the area of business law and rewarded the initiatives concerning the support and promotion of talent or the balance between the professional and the personal life.
