The Romanian AML Office published the draft law which will replace Law no. 656/2002 regarding anti-money laundering
The Romanian AML Office published on its official website the draft law which will replace Law no. 656/2002 regarding anti-money laundering. The draft law is intended to transpose the provisions of the Directive (EU) no. 2015/849 on the prevention of the use of the financial system for the purposes of money laundering or terrorist financing.

According to the announcement published on the authority’s website, interested persons can submit proposals and observations regarding the draft law until 2nd of June 2017.
