Lucian Barbu – speaker at the Meeting of Gambling Professionals
Lucian Barbu, Tax Partner, NNDKP Tax Advisory Services, was a speaker at the Meeting of Gambling Professionals, an event organized by Casino Inside magazine, on December 5 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Lucian joined the panel which focused on tax matters in the Romanian gaming industry and analyzed topics such as:
- tax inspections at permanent establishments of online gambling organizers;
- tax on income earned by non-resident entities providing services to permanent establishments;
- situations where a fixed establishment is also deemed to exist from a VAT perspective, implications for services supplied by third parties to such a fixed establishment;
- tax implications of various types of advertising campaigns in online and traditional gambling;
- issues relating to ANAF seizures submitted to online and traditional gambling organizers.
