NNDKP hosted an event on EU Law for clients
On June 13, NNDKP hosted for clients the event European Union Law in the conception and practice of authorities and courts. Tools, approaches, challenges and trends.
Daniela Gramaticescu, Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice, Anca Diaconu, Partner, Competition, State Aid and EU Law practice, Alina Radu, Partner and Head of NNDKP`s Banking and Finance practice, Silviu Badescu, Tax Partner, NNDKP Tax Advisory Services, Madalina Vasile, Head of the Environment practice, and Alexandru Lacureanu, Managing Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice discussed with the participants relevant issues regarding:
- the involvement of European institutions in solving internal projects governed by EU law;
- the legal instruments available in the relationship with authorities, namely the national courts;
- the hierarchy of European Union law norms;
- the trends of European courts in interpreting EU legislation, by taking into consideration the Romanian legislation.
The event brought together participants from key companies of the Romanian economy in an interactive framework of discussions, with focus on general information and on debates related to situations encountered in practice by professionals.
