NNDKP Legal & Tax Conference, 6th edition 2021
On 6 October 2021, NNDKP and Ziarul Financiar organized the 6th edition of the Legal & Tax conference, titled “What will be the impact of NRRP in the economy and business environment? What are the fiscal and legislative changes that will come?”.
During the first part of the event, NNDKP attorneys and counselors and their guests from the local medical business community explored highly relevant topics regarding Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), including:
- NRRP – engine for development and long-term reform
- The macroeconomic impact of NRRP
- What will the tax administration look life following the implementation of the programs included in NRRP?
- Will the Romanian (private) medical services industry, and implicitly the Romanian patient, benefit from the funds available under NRRP?
The lineup of speakers included: Dr. Wargha Enayati (Founder, Enayati Medical City), Mihai Marcu (President and CEO, MedLife Group), Dr. Ovidiu Nicolae Palea (Founder and General Manager, Provita Medical Center), Alina Timofti, Marius Ionescu and Adina Chilim-Dumitriu.
The second part of the conference focused on more technical aspects, such as the legislative changes made to the Tax Code and Tax Procedure Code in 2021, current trends in tax controls and developments in the VAT field.
Among the speakers were: Silviu Badescu, Lucian Barbu and Alexandru Aparaschivei.
