Roxana Ionescu – speaker at ZF ESG Summit 2023
Roxana Ionescu was a speaker at the 2023 edition of the ZF ESG Summit, organized by Ziarul Financiar, which took place on Monday, May 8, 2023, at JW Marriott Hotel.
This year’s edition of the event focused on how to implement ESG policies to ensure the sustainability of businesses and of society at large.
Roxana was a speaker in Panel 1 “How do we develop a sustainable business? What are the competitive advantages for companies that follow the ESG principles?” During the discussions, Roxana pointed out:
“The regulatory framework in the sustainability area is a moving target. The ESG concept differs not only from industry to industry, it differs from society to society. For example, in terms of controlling greenhouse gas emissions, there are increasingly stringent requirements and a lot of pressure on very few companies to reduce their emissions, such as those that fall under the greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme area.”
