Valentin Voinescu – speaker at CEE Finance and Capital Markets Workshops 2022
Valentin Voinescu, Partner in NNDKP’s Banking and Finance Practice, was a speaker at the annual CEE Finance and Capital Markets Workshops 2022 organized by Freshfields Vienna between 13-14 October 2022.
The event focused on the impact of geopolitics and macroeconomics on banking, finance and capital markets in CEE and brought together speakers from across the CEE region, as well as representatives of regional and international financial institutions and investors.
Valentin participated in the discussion rounds “Opportunity through volatility. Leveraging liability management exercises to level-up capital markets possibilities” and “Expectations for upgraded capital raisings”, and shared his views on key trends on the Romanian capital market, impact of the energy crisis and major drivers of raising capital in Romania in the current difficult context.
NNDKP also contributed the Romanian chapter to the CEE Workshop brochure prepared by Freshfields in collaboration with some of the leading local law firms in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), forming part of the Freshfields Stronger Together network.
