News on health and safety at work
The Government Decision no. 767/2016 for the amendment and the completion of certain acts regarding the unemployment insurance system and stimulation of employment and health and safety at work was published within the Official Gazette no. 838 from October 21, 2016.
The most important amendments are:
- the minimum duration of training of workers in health and safety at work is one hour (as opposed to 8 hours, as it was until now)
- the interval between two periodic trainings and the training checking frequency will be determined by the training-testing program elaborated at company level
