Tax Flash No. 8/2019 – Law 60/2019 amending Law no. 227/2015 regarding the Fiscal Code

Law 60/2019 amending Law no. 227/2015 regarding the Fiscal Code was published in Official Gazette 296/2019

The Law transposes the provisions of Directive 2016/1065 as regards the VAT treatment of vouchers by introducing the concepts of single-use vouchers and multi-use vouchers, already mentioned by the Methodological Norms as single-purpose voucher and multiple-purpose voucher.

The Law transposes the provisions of Directive 2016/2455 as regards certain VAT obligations for supplies of services and distance sales of goods.
