NNDKP Awards Scholarships for Law Students
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) announced that it will award two scholarships for second and third year students of the University of Bucharest Law School, during October 1st 2009 – July 1st 2010.

NNDKP Organizes the Fifth Edition of the Summer School Program
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) opened its gates to law school students during the fifth edition of the Summer School program. A group of ten students were selected from among 50 candidates. The trainees were selected based on the exam results, the professional know how, the participation in professional projects or extra-curricular activities, as well as English language knowledge. Personality features such as motivation, involvement, analytical and practical thinking were also essential in the selection criteria.

Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen Changes its Seniority Structure
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) team changed its structure through a series of promotions at senior associate level. Following the introduction, early this year, of a new seniority level of “Managing Associate”, five Senior Associates were promoted to this position: Ana-Maria Baciu (Intellectual Property), Luminita Dima (Head of the Employment practice group), Madalina Fildan (Real Estate), Raluca Nechimis (Public Procurement and Commercial Contracts) and Cristina Virtopeanu (Head of the Capital Markets practice group). From an organizational perspective, the new seniority level is situated between that of senior associate and salaried partner.

NNDKP Assisted a Large American Car Manufacturer in Acquiring an Investment Company’s Stake in a Local Car Factory
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) announced that it assisted one of the largest American players in the automotive industry in acquiring from a Romanian financial investment company its participation in a local car factory representing 22.85% of the foregoing company’s share capital. The transaction coordinated by the Senior Partner Manuela Nestor and capital markets specialist Gabriela Ontica, is one of the most significant deals to have taken place on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in the past months.

NNDKP Joins the EU Initiative to Fight Internet Child Abuse Material
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) announced its participation in the campaign for the combat of internet sexual exploitation of children. In response to the invitation addressed by an American financial services company, the firm has joined the Pan-European movement initiated by the Missing Children Europe Foundation to stop the commercial sale on the internet of materials depicting the sexual abuse of children.

Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) team changed its structure though a series of promotions to the partner level and the introduction of a new seniority level. These changes are intended to finalize the consolidation process started last year.
