The Emergency Arbitrator Procedure was unknown in the Romanian arbitration practice until the beginning of 2018, when it was introduced in the New Procedural Rules of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR).

After more than 8 years of litigation in court, the judge confirmed: Mogoșoaia Palace remains the property of the Bucharest Municipality.
In this proceeding, the plaintiff – a company active in the field of production of alternative energy sources – asked the Emergency Arbitrator to grant provisional measures consisting in the suspension of the plaintiff’s payment obligations arising out of a leasing agreement.
