Luminita Dima – moderator and Sorina Olaru – opening remarks at the VI-th edition of the international conference “Business law perspectives in the third millennium”
On November 25, 2016, the Law Department of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, together with the Legal and Administrative Science Society, held the VI-th edition of the international conference “Business law perspectives in the third millennium”.
According to the organizers, the conference is a platform for legal debates that examines recent developments and trends in the international business environment.
The conference was structured in three sessions: Public Law, Private Law and the Law of the European Union and International Law.
Luminita Dima participated as a special guest and moderator in the II-nd session of the conference, Private Law, together with professor Raluca Dimitriu and assistant professor Ana Vidat from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, and gave a presentation entitled “The Working Time – Various Developments in the Meaning of the Working Time at the European Union Level from a Romanian Labor Relations’ Perspective”.
Sorina Olaru was invited to give opening remarks at the event, alongside Prof. Razvan Dinca, PhD, Assistant Dean of the Bucharest Law School and Prof. Anica-Popa Adrian, Assistant Dean of the Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies .
The event gathered together several distinguished personalities, such as Prof. Nicolae Istudor, Provost of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Prof. Flavius-Antoniu Baias, Dean of the Bucharest Law School, Prof. Stefan Deaconu, President of the International Arbitration Court attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, Gheorghe Florea, Esq., President of the National Association of the Romanian Bar.
