Luminita Dima – speaker at the conference “Difficult Issues in Labor Law 2017”
The sixth edition of the conference “Difficult issues in labor law” was organized in the second half of May by the Legal Sciences Society, with the support of Juridice.ro and in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.
The conference was structured in four rounds of discussions, with panels that comprised teams of 3-4 speakers and two moderators each.
Luminita Dima was invited as a speaker during the third panel of the conference.
Also, part of the panel were Mioara Aldea (Judge, Bucharest Trial Court), Manuela Gutu (Judge, Bucharest Court of Appeals) and Serban Paslaru (Partner, Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii). This panel was moderated by Ion Traian Stefanescu (university professor) and Andrei Savescu (Managing Partner, Savescu & Asociatii). The topics debated included the disciplinary dismissal decision, discrimination at the workplace, disciplinary liability, as well as practical problems raised by the interpretation and application of the provisions of Art. 61 letter a) of the Labor Code.
