NNDKP Supports the Largest French Telecommunications Company in its Entrance into the Television Services Market
The head of the French operator’s legal department commented:Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen assisted the Romanian subsidiary of the largest French telecom company in implementing one of the most innovative projects launched in Romania, consisting of television services which will be provided both via the DTH (satellite) and the OTT technologies (over the top – receiving TV services via internet).
The project, coordinated by Adina Chilim-Dumitriu (NNDKP Partner and Head of the Media and Electronic Communications Practice), was very complex and dynamic, involving many hours of work in only a few months and a multidisciplinary team specialized in different areas of law.
She explains:
“In order to ensure the successful implementation of the project, NNDKP lawyers worked in close cooperation with the members of the legal and commercial departments of the client to adapt the solutions so that they meet the internal requirements of the project.”

This included the negotiations which took place between the operator and an impressive number of contractual partners, among which were over 40 local and international broadcasters.
