NNDKP has won two “Deal of the Year” awards for the year 2022 at the CEE Deals of the Year Awards gala organized by CEE Legal Matters, one of the leading regional legal publications. The event took place on April 25, 2023, in Istanbul, and brought together representatives of the most powerful and best-performing law firms in Central and Eastern Europe.

Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) has assisted, since June 2020, the Beverage Producers Alliance comprised of the Brewers of Romania Association and the Romanian Soft Drinks Association in setting up a deposit return system (DRS) for single-use primary packaging. The assistance also included establishing and obtaining the accreditation of RetuRO SGR as sole administrator of the Romanian system.
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) assisted ExxonMobil, one of the world’s largest publicly traded international oil and gas companies, with finalizing the last steps in selling to Romgaz its 50% participation in the Neptun Deep offshore block in the Black Sea. With the sale being materialized, this is one of most important M&A transactions in the energy sector ever rolled out on the local market that reshaped the oil & gas industry in Romania.
NNDKP has obtained a major success, confirmed by a final decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (HCCJ), namely the annulment of a fine in excess of lei 24 million (approximately Euro 5 million) applied by the Competition Council for allegedly establishing anticompetitive agreements intended to limit prices in the context of the promotional campaigns carried out at the level of food retail chains between 2005 – 2009.
