  • assistance to a leading IT worldwide company in relation to the implementation of a process of collective redundancies and rethinking of the business on the Romanian market affecting a number of over 200 employees
  • advice to a major Romanian insurance and re-insurance company in connection with the restructuring of the branch network, rethinking the organizational and functional structures within the company (i.e., collective redundancies of over 70 employees, information and consultation process of employees, discussions with trade unions, etc.)
  • advice to an international retailer operating in Romania over 150 hypermarkets and supermarkets in relation to various employment matters (e.g., collective negotiations, transfer of undertaking procedures, etc.)
  • advice to an international online gambling company in relation to several employment matters (i.e., preparing negotiations and amending services contract with IT services providers; avoiding the risks of re-qualification of relationships between the company and IT services providers’ employees as dependent relationship under the labour law; drafting and implementing internal policies related to organization and work discipline; terminating employment relationships due to professional unfitness and for disciplinary reasons)
  • assistance to a large international company active in the production and marketing of products, equipment and technology in multiple areas of business (i.e., health care, energy, electronics, office equipment, medical equipment, oil and gas, etc.) in relation to terminating the employment relationship of employees in management or key positions
  • assistance to several Romanian banking companies with various labour issues including restructuring, disciplinary lay-offs and lay-offs for professional unfitness, relocations of employees, temporary use of labour force, etc.
  • assistance to a Chinese company operating in the nuclear energy field in connection with a project launched by a Romanian company for setting up a Project Company with the aim to develop, build and operate Units 3 and 4 of Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant; the legal assistance consisted in, among others, carrying out a broad analysis of the legislation relevant for the personnel working in the nuclear energy field, including immigration aspects
  • undertaking a due diligence for a state-owned company acting in the energy field in relation to the privatization of 6 of its services and maintenance affiliates (i.e., preparing a complex legal audit on the 6 affiliates with regard to the implications of the privatization process from a labour perspective)
  • assistance to an international beer producer (member of an important Danish Group) with the implementation of collective dismissals as a consequence of the insolvency procedure
  • assistance to a dialysis company established in the United States with a cross-border due diligence exercise over a target dialysis business located in Romania, Portugal and Poland involving significant employment matters
